EXCLUSIVE : Listen to a brand new song

Exclusive preview of a demo. ‘Words won’t be undone’ is the first song I’ve written in 2012. I’ve not done this before but I thought I would share it as it is fresh off the assembly line. It needs a coat a paint and packing in it’s box but here it is in it’s unadormed glory.  Listen here

I have contributed a demo of an unreleased song called ‘Tiers of St Brides’.  It was my attempt to write something simple in the style of The Everly Brothers.  Big thanks to Peter Martin for tarting up my very rough demo with some bass and organ.

The album has some cracking songs on it. I especially enjoyed the Christmassy efforts of Samson & Delilah and Crazy Man Michael. Anna Kashfi’s track is also something quite special. Now I feel mean for not mentioning each one individually, but it’s really a great collection and it’s free.

On Saturday 17th December I will be doing a couple of songs live on Standing in the Shadows of Lev – the brilliant saturday morning show by Mog on ALL-FM. You can listen in the Manchester area on 96.9FM or elsewhere you can stream the show on the All-FM website.

2012 plans

Dates will announced shortly for a small tour in February 2012 in the company of two of my favourite songwriters in the world Dan Raza and Greg Harrisburg.  I’m also very excited to be playing some dates in Feb/March  with yet another of my favourite songwriters Kirsty McGee.  Look out also in early 2012 for news of a third Quiet Loner album.
